GCP Dental introduces the first universal Thermocure/ Polymerisation light
Ridderkerk, the Netherlands, 8 October 2015:
GCP introduces the CarboLED CL-02 curing light. One high-output LED curing light (≥1500 mW/cm2) to cover your entire restorative curing requirements: ionomer, carbomer™ and composite. This is the optimal curing light for the modern dental practice. Providing broad-spectrum blue light, it has also been designed for heat curing (thermocure) of glass ionomer and glass carbomer™ materials, dramatically improving their physical properties. At the same time the high-energy power ensures deep and rapid curing of composite restorative materials.
Due to the specifically directed high-energy power level, GCP Glass Carbomer™ restoratives cure faster without any damage to pulpal tissues. Also the battery design enables the light to maintain its output for the 60-90 seconds illumination generally required to thermocure larger molar restorations. The result is an exceptionally strong and long lasting, definitive restoration.
The CarboLED CL-02 is simple to operate and has an attractive, ergonomic design. Its casing is milled from a solid, silver-enriched aluminium alloy. This ensures the electronics and LED are never thermally overloaded, significantly increasing the useful life of the light.
Coupled with the recently introduced universal capsule mixer, the CarboLED CL-02 helps GCP Dental set a new standard in terms of reliability, effectiveness, design and ease of use. The CarboLED will be available at a price of £295 plus VAT. For further information please check out http://gcp-dental.com/products/gcp-carboled-lamp/ or ring +44 203 608 6214 (UK) or+31 10 8209 222.
